Are you aware that there was a record label based out of Elm City during the late 1950s?

It was Oak Records and headed by John Batchelor who also ran the local movie theater there.
I researched about the label for a re-issue project for Bear Family Records in Germany last year. They only limited their re-issue release to 500 copies and it has already sold out but there are used copies still available through Ebay. The original 45s of mostly rockabilly music are very rare and collectible and feature the Elm City address on the label. The Record in this photo can still be bought online. It's called "Little Heart Attacks".
